Ladybirds
Hi all, it's ladybirds this week. I'd already painted my nails plain red, but I got bored, as I often do when I've painted my nails in just one colour. So, they turned into ladybirds, and here's how to create the design yourself; after a couple of coats of red polish (I used Avon Nailwear in Real Red), use a very fine brush to paint a black curve across the top of your nail (this is called the 'smile line'). Once dry, carefully fill in the area with black polish (I used Avon Nailwear in Rapid Black). It's quite possible that you'll go over the edges, but you can tidy that up later. Next, paint a fine black line down the centre of your nail, then use a Nail Art pen to draw black dots down either side. Finally, use a white Nail Art pen to draw slightly thicker white dots along the top of your nail, then once those are dry, draw smaller black ones over the top for the eyes. And that's it - make sure to try it out!
