Bonjour, tout le monde! Forgive the introduction a la francais, but it's highly appropriate considering today's design. Oui oui, I'll be showing you how to do the classic French manicure - but of course, as it's me, it has to be a bit different and a bit weird. But weird is good, right? Anyway, let's get painting; first, choose a nice base colour for your nails - this particular design features Avon Nailwear in 'Savage'. Use a couple of coats and allow to dry. Then, using that steady hand, very carefully paint a pink 'smile' line along the top of your nail (yes, you guessed it - I used Avon Nailwear in 'Viva Pink'). If it's a bit wobbly, don't worry - this will get better with practice! About 2 coats should be enough. It's also inevitable that you'll get pink varnish on your fingers; just dip a cotton bud or small make up brush in nail varnish remover to carefully remove any excess varnish. Done that? Great, now your quirky French manicure should be looking good to go!
